• What is Sign and Send?

    Send and Send will be a online application that allows you to sign and send documents online. That is, it allows you to upload a PDF, add your signature electronically, and have the signed document printed out and sent to someone via postal mail.

    The idea came about last year around tax season when I had to file my busineses taxes in New Mexico (my state of residence). Fortunately, my tax software spit out exactly what I needed, but, unfortunately, no efile option is offer for business tax returns in New Mexico. So, I cobbled together a *very* rought prototype that would let me sign and send the the return.

    I posted it to Hacker News. Then someone posted it to ProductHunt and got some pretty positive feedback.

    Then it lingered in the prototype stage for almost a year and now, finally!, I'm going to build it out legitimately. So, I've taken down the prototype and put up this site in its place, where I'll be writing about building the application as well as the challenges and opportunities of signing and sending documents in the digital age.
